The movie starts off great by treating the "sky is falling" story we read in kinder as one of the most embarrassing moments of Chicken Little's short life, having only happened a year before the movie story's timeline. Everybody remembers how the town was in bedlam when Chicken Little rang the town bell and ran around shouting that the sky is falling. It is a good thing that his father, Buck Cluck, is supportive about the incident. In other matters, his Buck is bordering on being over-protective for he thinks Chicken Little takes after his mother - small and of weak constitution - which when you think about it, is not supportive at all.

Chicken Little would be happy if everybody just forgot the incident, but the bullies, led by Foxy Loxy, think it's fun to pick on him and his gang - which when you think about it, is a bunch of losers.

Things get interesting when something strange thing fell on Chicken Little's head that had him thinking that it's probably the same object that he thought was a piece of the sky a year ago. Fish Out of Water experiments with it and is beamed up into a space ship - forcing Chicken Little and the rest of the gang to follow and rescue him. On their way down to earth, a furry alien child named Kirby follows them to explore earth. Unfortunately, the disappearance of Kirby alarms his parents who launch an attack on earth in order to find him. The scenes are reminiscent of War of the Worlds and similar movies.

All's well at the end, with Kirby returned safely to his parents, the aliens leaving the earth in peace, and Chicken Little redeems his reputation. In addition, a movie is made portraying him and his friends as good looking superheroes... which shows what artistic license does to the real story.
