MPAA Rating:G

The movie starts off great by treating the "sky is falling" story we read in kinder as one of the most embarrassing moments of Chicken Little's short life, having only happened a year before the movie story's timeline. Everybody remembers how the town was in bedlam when Chicken Little rang the town bell and ran around shouting that the sky is falling. It is a good thing that his father, Buck Cluck, is supportive about the incident. In other matters, his Buck is bordering on being over-protective for he thinks Chicken Little takes after his mother - small and of weak constitution - which when you think about it, is not supportive at all.

Chicken Little would be happy if everybody just forgot the incident, but the bullies, led by Foxy Loxy, think it's fun to pick on him and his gang - which when you think about it, is a bunch of losers.

Things get interesting when something strange thing fell on Chicken Little's head that had him thinking that it's probably the same object that he thought was a piece of the sky a year ago. Fish Out of Water experiments with it and is beamed up into a space ship - forcing Chicken Little and the rest of the gang to follow and rescue him. On their way down to earth, a furry alien child named Kirby follows them to explore earth. Unfortunately, the disappearance of Kirby alarms his parents who launch an attack on earth in order to find him. The scenes are reminiscent of War of the Worlds and similar movies.

All's well at the end, with Kirby returned safely to his parents, the aliens leaving the earth in peace, and Chicken Little redeems his reputation. In addition, a movie is made portraying him and his friends as good looking superheroes... which shows what artistic license does to the real story.

Movie: Harry Potter
and the Goblet of Fire

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingDistributor:Warner Bros. Pictures International
Warner Bros. Pictures Distribution
Release:November 18, 2005
Genre:Action/Adventure, Kids/Family and Science Fiction/Fantasy
MPAA Rating:PG-13 for sequences of fantasy violence and frightening images.

With the World Quidditch Cup and Tri-wizard tournament happening at the same time, this movie has more action sequences than the first three.

When screenshots were initially released for this movie, the first thing I noticed is that the Weasley boys sported long hair ... it's actually becoming for the twins, but on Rupert Grint who plays Ronald - he looks like a girl.

The new characters in Harry's circle introduced in this installment are Mad-Eye Moody, Cho Chang, and the Tri-wizard entrants: Cedric Diggory, Fleur Delacour and Viktor Krum. The movie's Cho is indeed charming, and Cedric is the typical hunk. However, Fleur looks more like the girl next door instead of the flirty pouty blonde I imagined, and Viktor is one handsome jock although in the books he isn't much of a looker and he limps.

The house elves are absent in this movie. So there are no S.P.E.W. jokes, no Winky covering for Barty Crouch, nor is Dobby present to help Harry prepare for the second task. Dobby's role in that scene is taken over by Neville, who I think is slowly being given more attention to prepare moviegoers for his bigger role in the next film, if they will follow what happened in Book 5. I imagined Rita Seeker to be more thin faced, and the Senior Crouch to look more dignified instead of comical.

That said, I still think that the movie is true to the spirit of the novel even if it changed some things.
